Lab services will be added to the Saskatchewan Health Authority’s online patient booking system starting next month.  You will be able to book online for blood and urine collection, an ECG and glucose tolerance tests.

Six lab sites will have this online booking service, with three in Moose Jaw and one each in North Battleford, Prince Albert and Swift Current. Lenore Howey, Executive Director of Laboratory Medicine Clinical Services with the Saskatchewan Health Authority says, “The expansion of the patient booking system is a huge step forward in our efforts to maximize efficiency.”

Lab appointments in Saskatoon and Regina will continue to be booked online through LifeLabs.

To book an appointment using the new online system, you will need:
– a valid health card; and
-a phone number or email address where notifications will be sent.
Alternatively, patients can speak by phone to a booking agent for help with their appointment. The Call Centre operates 8:45 am to 4:45 pm, 7 days per week, and can be accessed by calling 1-833-727-5829.
