As of Saturday, travellers entering Canada will no longer need to show proof of vaccination against COVID-19. Wearing a mask on planes and trains also becomes optional, though it’s still recommended like a lot of businesses and institutions across the country.
Those who are not vaccinated and are entering the country will no longer have to isolate. Anyone who entered Canada in the last two weeks and was subject to quarantine can once again leave their homes.
The ArriveCan app also becomes optional for inbound travellers as of Sunday.
