A wanted Regina man has been arrested in the Queen City.
Thirty-three-year-old Chad Keewatin who was wanted on multiple outstanding warrants including assault, assault causing bodily harm, possession of stolen property and flight from a Peace Officer was arrested Thursday following a search warrant at a Regina home.
Additional evidence was seized at the McTavish Street home in relation to the charges.
Keewatin is facing multiple charges including two counts of a firearm knowing its possession was unauthorized and possession of a dangerous weapon.
The 33-year-old made his first court appearance on Thursday.
Meanwhile, Regina Police located and arrested a 17-year-old youth wanted on multiple warrants who was identified driving a vehicle Thursday.
Police lost sight of the vehicle at first, but then the same vehicle was spotted again by police. This time, being driven by a 40-year-old woman.
The woman evaded police several times according to the RPS when attempts were made to pull her over.
While police followed, a second vehicle had driven alongside the first one for approximately 20 minutes. Around 2:30 in the afternoon, the female was found exiting the vehicle towards the second one. She managed to get into the second vehicle, although the vehicle was immobilized.
Both the 40-year-old and 17-year-old were arrested.
A search of the 17-year-old revealed a firearm and a search of the vehicle found multiple rounds of ammunition. Both were charged and the 17-year-old was also charged with previous offences dating back from Sunday, including previous possession of a stolen vehicle.
Both are facing multiple firearms charges. The 40-year-old woman is Danielle Fink of Regina.
