Retail sales in Saskatchewan were unchanged August to September according to Statistics Canada. Nationally, sales were up 1.1 per cent. That was the fifth consecutive monthly increase since the record decline in April.

Compared to September last year, sales here were up 3.7 per cent. Nationally, they were up 4.6 per cent. Total sales in Saskatchewan added up to about $1.7 billion dollars.
